Flipper - Sky, Virgin, and BT YouView Programming Codes for 2017 to 2021
This article refers to our Flipper Big Button Remote Control
Here's a list of the latest programming codes for popular Set-Top Boxes and TV services in the UK.
Sometimes we may refer to Flipper versions in this article if you're unsure on your Flipper version please see How to find your Flipper version/model number
Sky - General/All Codes
Codes are in generally descending order of UK popularity; i.e the codes at the beginning are for the most common Sky boxes.
All versions: 1543, 3193, 0443, 1573, 1583, 1593, 2633, 1423, 1503, 1513, 1363, 1673
Flipper v6+: 3803
Flipper v7/v8: 3194, 1694, 0804, 0724, 0684, 0514, 0304, 2674
Sky Q Programming Codes
Please try the following code blocks in the order they appear;
- 3803, 3084, 3194
- 1694, 0804, 0724, 0684, 0514, 0304, 2674
If the codes above do not work, please try any Sky codes found in the code list that was supplied with your Flipper
The Sky Q code above will only work on v6+ of the Flipper remote controls. The v6 Flipper is currently outdated and it's highly unlikely your Flipper is a v6 if bought in 2020+ but here are our instructions on how to find your version number if you're unsure
Virgin
Codes: 1364, 3143, 3653
BT Youview
BT YouView is the TV service provider, however, the Flipper lists STB codes by the manufacturer. The names below refer to the manufacturer of BT YouView boxes.
To find the manufacturer of your BT YouView box please refer to the white label on the set-top box that includes the barcode and other technical information. This is usually located on the back or bottom the STB.
Humax: 1053, 1893, 1913, 1923, 1933 2143
Huawei: 3813
Other: 0293, 0633
If none of the above codes work then we would recommend trying the codes for generic Freeview STBs;
Freeview: 2053, 2063, 2083, 2103, 2113, 2123, 2143, 2193, 2033, 2043, 2203, 2223, 2253
