Flipper won't turn TV back on

This support article is for when the Flipper TV remote turns the TV off, but doesn't turn the TV back on.

Initial Checks

Before proceeding please check the following. These checks are important as they may identify different problems with the set-up. The solution to this specific issue requires a small reprogramming of the Flipper so it's important that we make sure we're fixing the right problem.

• Please confirm that the Flipper does not turn the TV back on even when the TV has been powered off for some time - for example, turning the TV off and then trying to turn it back on immediately may not work but this would likely be for another reason
• Check that when trying to turn the TV back on using the Flipper nothing happens on the TV screen at all - for example, a separate issue that sometimes occurs is the TV does power on but doesn't show any channels or shows white noise
