Easy Set-Up Instructions for TabTime Pill Dispenser
This article refers to our Tabtime Automatic Pill Dispenser
This article is aimed at providing an online walk-through of some of the most common settings and changes that our customers make with their TabTime Medelert Automatic Pill Dispensers.
We try to keep this guide up to date as often as possible but please always refer to your original instructions and only use this article for additional help.
Power Saving Mode: If your TabTime LCD screen is blank it is most likely in power saving mode, which is normal. Press button 3 to wake up the pill dispenser and you can then program the device.
How To - Manually Set the Clock/Time
- Press and hold button 1 until the hour numbers blink
- Use button 2 to scroll down or button 3 to scroll up until you've highlighted the correct hour
- Press button 1 to save the hour (the minutes should now begin blinking)
- Use buttons 2 and 3 to adjust the minutes (you can hold the buttons down to change numbers faster)
- Press button 1 for 5 seconds
- The time should now be correct
Hints & Tips
- On step 1, if you press button 1 but do not hold it down long enough then you may accidentally change an alarm time. You can tell if you're currently editing an alarm as A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, or A6 will be flashing on the left hand side of the LCD screen
How To - Add/Edit an Alarm
- Press button 1 and quickly release - the hour numbers will blink
- You should now be viewing Alarm 1 (the alarm number will be displayed on the left side of screen, e.g A1)
- If you have already set an alarm(s) and are looking to add another, keep pressing button 1 to cycle through the alarms until you reach a blank one (then continue)
- To add/edit the alarm that you're viewing; use button 2 to scroll down or button 3 to scroll up until you've changed the hour to the correct time
- Press button 1 to save the hour (the minutes should now begin blinking)
- Use buttons 2 and 3 to adjust the minutes (you can hold the buttons down to change numbers faster)
- Press button 1 to save the minutes and move onto the next alarm
- Either add a new alarm and repeat steps 4-7, or continue pressing button 1 until you no longer see the alarm symbols
- When you are finished press button 1 until you no longer see the alarm symbol
Hints & Tips
- On step 1, if you hold down button then you may accidentally change the time. You can tell if you're currently editing an alarm as A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, or A6 will be flashing on the left hand side of the LCD screen
How To - Check Current Alarm Times
Sometimes you may wish to view the current alarms without making any changes, this can easily be done as follows;
- Press button 1 briefly release (do not hold it down)
- Your screen will now display the time for alarm 1, or A1 (to check you're viewing the alarm look at the left hand side of the screen, you should see A1)
- Press button 1 to continue without making any changes, you will need to press button 1 twice to move onto the next alarm
- You should now be viewing alarm 2 (A2)
- Continue pressing button 1 until you have viewed all of the alarms and are returned back to the main screen
Hints & Tips
- As long as you only press button 1 you will not make any changes to your current alarms (buttons 2 and 3 make changes)
