Additional Advice

Please also bear in mind the following;

• Change the volume when the device is turned on and playing music
• Please note the holes to change the volume are on the bottom of the player (there are also two holes on the back, these should be ignored)
• Feel for the "click" when pressing the button inside the hole, there should be a noticeable feel to it
• You'll need to hold the button down for a number of seconds before the volume starts to change, and the volume changes in relatively small increments so you may need to hold down the button for quite some time before you notice

How to test if volume has been turned down to the minimum

If your music player is no longer playing music and you need to check if the item is faulty or the sound has been turned down, please try the following;

1. Plug the music player into the mains power, and open the lid, as if you were playing music on the player
2. Gently turn the music player on it's back - as shown in image above above
3. Hold one of the volume buttons down for 15-20 seconds, and then release
4. Wait 15-30 seconds and listen to check if music can now be heard
5. If no music is heard, repeat steps 3-4 for the other volume control
